Q: Is RareMyo Vegan?
A: Absolutely! 100% vegan and always will be! We are certified vegan by www.vegan.org under our parent company's name of VerJus Essentials LLC.
Q: Could you explain why the 6 nutrients of RareMyo are beneficial to me?
A: Simply put, plant sources have no muscles, so eating a plant based diet tends to reduce the availability of a few key energy nutrients.
Vitamin B12: Important for our red blood cells (preventing anemia), Also very important for metabolism of DNA synthesis, Fatty Acid, and Amino Acid formation.
Acetyl L- Carnitine: Important to transport high energy fatty acids into mitochondria for oxiditation for energy for our brains and muscles. Carnitine was shown 25% lower by in studies by Delanghe J, et. al.. These lower levels suggest our bodies have a limit on how much Carnitine it can make or hold onto.
CarnoSyn® Beta-Alanine: Beta-Alanine is absorbed relatively well and acts on the metabolic pathway to cause increased levels of Carnosine. Carnosine acts as an intracellular pH buffer within skeletal muscles to exercise performance.
CoEnzyme Q10: Found in every cell in the body and very important in aerobic metabolism to produce energy through the ETC (Electronic Transport Chain). Especially important in cells that demand a lot of energy such as skeletal muscle.
Creatine Creapure: Creatine is converted in skeletal muscle to creatine phosphate stores which are used for short-duration (minutes) high-intensity.
L-Taurine: Derivative of non-essential amino acid Cysteine and found in high concentration in skeletal muscle. L-Taurine is thought to act as an antioxidant within skeletal muscle during strenuous exercise to allow for increased muscle performance.
Q: You say no Mega Doses. Can you compare the amount in each RareMyo capsule to what is found in a single serving of meat?
Vitamin B12: RareMyo has 6mcg per capsule since absorption is limited to 10mcg at any given time due to limited amounts of intrinsic factor in the GI tract. Steak/Beef has about 2mcg B12 per serving.
Acetyl L- Carnitine: RareMyo has 50mg per capsule, Steak/Beef has about 100mg Carnitine per serving, Chicken/Fish has about 5mg Carnitine per serving, Carnitine is not found in plant sources
CarnoSyn® Beta-Alanine: RareMyo has 80mg of Beta-Alanine per capsule
CoEnzyme Q10: RareMyo has 10mg per capsule, Steak/Beef has 2-7mg per serving
Creatine Creapure®: RareMyo has 200mg per capsule, Steak/Beef has between 260-400mg per serving
L-Taurine: RareMyo has 100mg per capsule, Steak/Beef has between 40-400 mg per serving

The 6 nutrients in RareMyo are produced using the following techniques:
Acetyl L-Carnitine – Produced by Chemical Synthesis
CarnoSyn® Beta-Alanine – Chemical Synthesis
Creatine Creapure® – Chemical Synthesis
Coenzyme Q10 – Fermentation (yeast or bacterial)
Vitamin B12 – Fermentation (yeast or bacterial)

Q: I know many other supplement companies cut their cost by sourcing low cost ingredients from countries such as Mexico, China and India. Where are RareMyo’s starting ingredients sourced from?
A: We feel it is important to start with quality ingredients from countries with strong product safety and labor rights laws. Therefore we avoid sourcing our ingredients from developing nations such as Mexico, China & India. The source of RareMyo’s ingredients are from the United States, Japan, and Germany which all have excellent safety and labor rights laws.
Q: I know many other supplement companies use processing chemicals to lower costs such as Magnesium Stearate, Stearic Acid, or Silicon Dioxide. Please explain any extra ingredients that you use for processing?
A: We feel there should be no chemical additives that could potentially cause harm. We only use 3 extra ingredients to make RareMyo: Cellulose, Rice Bran Extract, and Rice Concentrate. Cellulose is from green plant cell walls. Rice bran extract and Rice concentrate are both from Rice, used to prevent our RareMyo product from sticking to the capsule packaging machine.
